Sorry I Haven't Posted In A While.

There's been a lot going on latley,
I haven't really gotten around to posting as much as I would like too.

I've been adding up some random beauty tips for you guys, and here they are!

Skin Tips for Oily-Skin:
- don't use alcohol based cleansers, this can dry out your skin
- for cleansers it is actually better to use an oil-based cleanser, just because you wash it off. this won't add more oil to your face.
- always use gel cleansers before a milk cleanser
- wash your face at night, and in the morning aswell because of the excess oil
- moisturize day and night with an oil free moisurizer
- wear sunscreen with an spf 15
- you can exfoliate 3x a week
- drink lots and lots of water! (2 litres/day)
- avoid liquid foundation
- use blotting paper throughout the day

Acne/Breakout Tips:
- don't pick/pop/scratch your pimples, your fingers are dirty and can cause more bacteria to get into the infected pore.
- avoid scented soaps
- use alcohol free cleansers
- be consistent with your skincare routine
- drink lots of water!
- watch for expirary dates on makeup and cleansers and other face products
- try to keep your stress level down, the best way to do this is to be active!

Acne Tips during Puberty:
- wash face twice daily with mild acne medicated soap
- don't scrub your face, but rub in a circular motion
- get some over-the-counter benzoyl peroxide and use that as your moisturizor
- try not to touch your face, santize a lot!!!!
- get yourself a spray bottle from the dollar store, get some rubbing alcohol, and sanitize EVERYTHING. whatever is going to go near your face, spray it first!!
- if you have body acne, don't wear tight clothes around the infected area, this makes the skin not be able to breathe
- remove all your makeup before you go to bed
- keep your hair clean, and when you are having a lazy day, keep it out of your face!
- protect your skin from the sun with sunscreen or a face moistureizor with spf in it(this also keeps wrinkles away!)

Nail Tips:
- drink lots of water!!
- increase daily doses of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin B12, Calcium, Folic Acid, Protein, and Zinc

And here are some homemade beauty recipes you can make in your own home!

For Wrinkles!!!:
- mash 1/4 of a banana until a cream like consistency, rub all over face and leave for 15-20 minutes, rinse with warm water, then cold and pat dry

Apple Zinger Facial Mask(Great for OILY SKIN):
1 medium sized apple (grated fine)
5 tbs of honey

mix together and rub onto your face, leave for 10 minutes, rinse with cool water & pat dry

Smooth&Healthy Skin Shake!:
- combine fresh veggies such as cucumber, celery, kale, parsley, spinach, and apple into a juicer
- add lemon & ginger for a yummy zing!

LOOK & HAUL

Hey Guys! I'm glad i'm getting something other then a haul up today!

THE LOOK:
So the other night, I did this look on my friend:) She was wearing a forest green & white shirt and this is the look I came up with for her so her makeup would match!!


What I Used:
Merle Norman Eyeshadow Base
Covergirl Eyeshadow in "Champagne" all over the eyelid
In the Milani Eyeshadow Palette The dark & light greens
Bedhead eyeshadow in Black

What I Did:
1.) I took the eye primer and applied that the the browbone
2.) Applied Champagne all over the lid
3.) Took the darker green from the milani palette and applied that to her outer V
4.) Took the lighter green from the milani palette and applied that from the inner corner of her eye to the middle of the crease
5.) Took the Black and put a small amount in her crease to define the eye
6.) Applied a little more of the Champagne as her highlight

Hope you liked my look! :) She loved it!

I also bought some drawer organizers today, so I could organize my makeup a little more detailed. These are the organizers:

This is the top drawer, which I use for eyeshadows.
For this drawer, I don't really have a setup.
The section nearest to the right is mostley single & double eyeshadows..
the one next to that is mostley quads..
and then the other two have random palettes


This drawer is all my eyeliners, mascaras, eye bases, and lip products.
The section nearest to the right is all my mascaras...
The section next to that is all my eyeliners and eye bases..
The section next to that is all my lipglosses..
And then section nearest to the right holds my lipsticks.


This is my face products drawer.
The section nearest to the right holds my bronzers, highlight, and a few of my powders..
The section next to that holds the rest of my powders and concealers..
The section next to that holds all my blushes..
The section nearest to the right side holds all my liquid foundations..

Small Update & Haul

UPDATE:
I just watched a video on youtube by brilliantbrnette81, and she made me realize something. When people make videos on youtube, it is the same thing as making a makeup blog, except you are actually talking to the person, and showing them things, rather then showing pictures and them reading. Since I have not yet decided if I want to make videos yet, I've decided I'm going to make a makeup blog! I have had a makeup blog before, on makeup-forums.com I got out of that, because of youtube, and now i'm going to restart my makeup blogging here!

HAUL:


Today, I went out and bought some makeup! I don't have the receipt with me so guessing will have to do for you guys!

Things I Bought:
Wet n Wild's Mega Glow Illuminating Powder in Catwalk pink ($5.00)
- two outside colors are nicely pigmented, two inside colors not so much
- outside colors are shimmer while inside are matte


Annabelle's Blush in #18 ($5.00)
- very pigmented!
- be careful how much you put on your brush or you will look very very red
- matte!


Wet n Wild's Ultimate Expressions Palette in Fantasy Island ($6. 49)
- not very pigmented again, i was disappointed by this.
- most are shimmery, except the dark brown is matte


Milani's Runway Eyes Fashion Shadows in Glamorous Gems ($10.99)
- very pretty!
- very pigmented and last all day with a primer!
- lots of product, I want all the other Milani palettes!

BLOG TYPE: Personal

Hello Again! How is everyone.. if there is anyone reading this, lol.

It's weird. I've always wanted to have a blog, a twitter, youtube channel with videos, all that good stuff, but whenever I try to make a video, blog, anything, I never know what to say!

Do people plan out their blogs before they start?
Or when an idea sparks do they just write?

Let me know how you guys write your blogs,
or if you know anything about blogs,
let me know how other people do these things!

I'm quite new to this, and I'm hoping to get a fair amount of followers for my blog. I want people to know my blog, people to say, "Have you seen anonymousblogger42's new blog this week?"
That's what I'm hoping to achieve, it'd be awesome if I got to that point.

I think I'm going to start blogging once a week, maybe Monday will be my blogging day, or maybe Sunday. I never have anything to do Sunday's, maybe that'd be a nice time consumer.
Hm, I guess I'll have to think more on that.

Before I start with a whole blogging schedule though, I think I should get a good amount of people actually reading my blog & wanting to read more from me and all that good stuff.
Then my blogs won't be a COMPLETE waste of my time!

The Beginning of a Something New...

Hello everyone.

I'm gonna get straight to the facts. I'm usually, a pretty easy-going person. At times, I do go through moments of craziness.
Coming to my blog, will be a new post each time. Sometimes serious, other times funny&pointless, and then other times telling you some life stories of my own.
No one will know who I am, where I'm from, how old I am.
That is all for you guys out there to judge. You can judge me, by my writing. Like it, or not!
Who knows. I'll be looking forward to those of you who plan on coming back, reading more, and wanting more.

Also, I plan on writing a little bit. Maybe poems, short novels, and maybe even get to long novels! Fan fiction maybe, my own?
Who knows what could be written on this blog of mine.
